Teaching Every year I take time to teach through various organizations. Puzzle box workshop: Anderson Ranch in Aspen, Colorado and CFFC in Rockport, Maine. Demonstrations of Japanese woodworking techniques with Kezurou-Kai in Oakland, CA.
Links Akio Kamei and the Karakuri Group have pioneered puzzle box making into the 21st century. I heard about Akio Kamei's work when I started making puzzles. The Karakuri Group has been a very huge inspiration for me. Mike has a very extensive site about all types of puzzle boxes. You will find lots of photos and information about both new and traditional Japanese boxes. He has many boxes for sale. Nob Yoshigahara Design Competition My puzzle boxes have won many awards in this worldwide annual competition. Think of this as the Olympics for puzzle designers! Eric Fuller's runs Cubic Dissection. Cubic Dissection features many very fine puzzles, he makes along with work by Robert Yarger, Mark McCallum, and many others. Oscar has inveted more amazing puzzles than anyone I know.
