The Virus Box

This is a special one of a kind puzzle box made for a benefit auction to help support a cause to fight the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. Solving the box requires navigating a 23 move sequence of rotating the virus knobs. It is stored in a Red Cedar decagonal case. The 12 knobs are Curly Maple, the pentagon faces are Quarter-sawn Walnut, and interior yellow wood is Pau Amarello. Circular parts inside are quarter-sawn Maple. The insignia is made from Holly and oxidized Walnut. The finish is shellac and paste wax. Solution diagram is provided with certificate.
