Cut Box

This is technically not a puzzle box. The cut separates the lid of the box. It lifts free like a normal box. The really fun thing to do is place the lid back on it and allow gravity to gently pull it back. The air displacement creates a cushion that slows it down. It is very soothing. This box is being auctioned at the eleventh annual "Design After Dark" event in Denver. The proceeds will go towards supporting the Denver Art Museum.

 

 

 

As the lid gently glides back. It is possible to photgraph it as it falls.
