Bow Tie Box

 

I made this Box for the host gifts of the International Puzzle Party in 2018 in San Diego. This is a annual mechanical puzzle convention with the worlds newest and best puzzles and the worlds most serious puzzle collectors all show up to attend.

Here puzzles are the common language and people all celebrate how solving even the hardest puzzles can truly be a joyful social gathering.

The Bow Tie Box is another interpretation of the Metal Maze Box and demonstrates a very unusual property of circular mazes. I wish not to give too much away describing it but it requires thinking beyond the maze to solve it.
